WI August 2026 Report

WI August 2026 Report

As you can see from the picture, we had a most enjoyable evening with Debs Marrison! Her journey into millinery began in 2011. Having been made redundant by Virgin Media, Debs used her redundancy money, and her untapped creative talents, to retrain as a Milliner. She has operated from her workshop on Paxcroft Farm for the last 12 years; honing her craft and building up her client base.

The distinctive feature of Marrison Millinery is the unique combination of artistic perspective and craftsmanship. Debs offers a bespoke service which matches the hat to the person and to the occasion. The finished product can be bought or hired. In the picture we are wearing a selection of the hats available for hire, which can themselves be modified for the next client.

We had a lovely evening; informative and entertaining. Debs wasn’t selling a product, she was sharing a passion.
