A lovely summer’s evening saw 24 members and 4 guests enjoying the chatter and inspection of the allotments! Despite the extreme weather, produce was there finding a way to cope, very impressive. A few more water butts about I fancy!
It was nice to see Carol Mussell and Helen (the landlords), and Lisa and Jason Parmley the sponsor for the roadside tubs, who had all been invited. Thanks go to the allotmenteers for their invite, especially Malcolm for providing the table (of course it was a door!), and for opening for us.
The delicious food was brought along by members and Suzanne sorted the drinks! Thank you all.
