The Three Daggers pub has been granted planning permission to build their new car park and the associated works. They hope to start erecting tree guards in the field commencing Monday 14th September 2026. The playfield and permissive path to the north will then close on Friday 18th September 2026 so that machinery can be brought on site over the weekend ready to begin the works in earnest on 21st September 2026.
Duration of the works and the length of closure of the playfield and permissive path are at present unknown, and will no doubt depend on weather and other construction factors. It is expected to be a few weeks at least before the playfield equipment has been fully relocated, recommissioned and the facility can reopen.
