The ‘Alternative Flower & Produce Show’ (or the good the bad and the ugly!) just for members was great fun, relaxed and plenty to discuss, and seeds were promised for next year’s main show for an entry of the Hubbard squash. Flowers, Vegetables, Fruit, Traybake, and Succulent were all represented and members voted with beads to determine the winners. A small prize for each was won by Mercedes, Jackie, and Alison.
There was a short garden-orientated quiz, and the Tray Bake entries were demolished with our drinks. Mary Berry recipes seem to be a favourite!
