Wessex Internet briefed the Parish Council on 10th August about their plans to bring full-fibre broadband to the village in Spring 2027 as part of the Government’s Project Gigabit that is funding rural ultrafast connectivity.
Installation costs are covered by Government funding, with users only having to pay a connection fee and the subsequent broadband package charge. Look out for Wessex Internet coming to the village to give a briefing because if you attend this meeting and register your interest then the connection fee is waived. Broadband packages will vary in cost as shown in the material below.
